A life well-lived and a legacy to cherish - that's the story of Cathleen Gorman, a beloved figure from the Midwest. Her passing leaves a void, but her memory shines bright.
Cathleen, originally from Bellaghy, Co. Sligo, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with illness. Her strength and dignity throughout her journey are an inspiration.
She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Peadar, and her parents, Dame and Mary, in a place where they can find eternal peace. Cathleen is also predeceased by her brother James and sister Mary, leaving a close-knit family behind.
Cathleen's impact on her family is immeasurable. She will be deeply missed by her daughter Noeleen, sons Seamus, Emmett, and Cian, who have lost a loving mother and a source of strength. Her grandchildren, a testament to her legacy, will carry her memory forward. The family is further supported by son-in-law Tony, daughters-in-law Orla and Siobhan, and Emmett's partner Josephine, who were all a part of Cathleen's loving circle.

Cathleen's funeral will take place at The Church of The Sacred Heart, Mullinabreena, on Tuesday evening (9th December) at 6:30 pm. The Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Wednesday (10th December) at 12 noon, followed by burial at Court Abbey Cemetery.
For those unable to attend, Cathleen's Funeral Mass will be live-streamed on the Achonry Mullinabreena Church Facebook page, allowing friends and family near and far to pay their respects.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Community Palliative Care, NorthWest Hospice, an organization close to Cathleen's heart. This is a way to honor her memory and support those facing similar journeys.
